We are seeking a seasoned Finance Officer with strong experience in microfinance and lending environments. The ideal candidate will manage financial operations, loan portfolio performance, and regulatory compliance, and must understand the full lifecycle of consumer loans within a regulated financial services environment.
Requirements
Responsibilities: Manage daily financial operations, including loan disbursements, repayments, and reconciliations Monitor loan portfolios, repayment performance, and delinquency trends Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts Ensure accurate recording of loan transactions, income, and expenses Support credit analysis, pricing, and lending decisions Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal financial policies Liaise with auditors and relevant stakeholders Recommend improvements to financial processes and controls Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a microfinance bank, lending institution, fintech, or consumer finance company Strong understanding of consumer lending, credit risk, repayments, and collections Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail Added Advantage: Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CFA) Experience with digital lending or loan management systems
